Information on Shares

I think there was some confusion about the extended season pickup, so I wanted to write all of you and let you know that there is a Saturday Extended Season Pickup.

Those of you who chose to be in the extended season will pick your share up at the Franklin Farmer's Market as usual. This Saturday is your first pickup and we'll be there between 8 and Noon as usual.

If any of you did not participate because you did not think we had a Saturday pickup and you decide that you want to participate, just email me and we'll get you all set for tomorrow's share. I'll put the share content on this email to let you see what the winter shares will be like.

Cindy

First Week Extended Share Content:

Green Tomatoes
Bell Peppers
Lettuce
Cucumber
Pie Pumpkin
Butternut Squash
Tatsoi (Asian Green, great in salads, delicious in stir fry)
Mustard Greens
Arugula
Radishes
Celery!

News from the Farm
We are going to offer an extended season this year for those who might want to continue on for a while longer.  The extended season will consist of 4 weeks starting November 7th. The shares will be every other week, so the dates for the extended season will beNovember 7, November 21st, December 5th and December 19th. These dates will take us throught the holidays and offer pickups close to each holiday so you will have fresh greens and veggies for your holiday meals. We will only be at 3 locations: Here at the farm, Linden Corner and the Turnip Truck. The cost of the 4 week extension is 100.00. We will be limiting the number of shares, so be sure to let us know soon if you want to participate, so we can get you on the list.
